There was a similar study done five years ago that also demonstrated that caffeine 30 minutes before exercise selectively increased the ability to burn fat during a workout. Therefore, this study attached is very important because of its validation of the first study, which we are always looking for in science. On a further note it’s also been shown that the ideal time to workout is in the afternoon, and in the outdoors. That commentary is actually based on two separate clinical trials. One demonstrated that you will enjoy an increase in your fitness level by working out in the afternoon versus the morning, and the second study showed that people who train outdoors, such as bike riding and running outdoors versus a treadmill or Peloton have a dramatically better response to exercise.
